Sally worked her way up to regional salesperson for food giant ADM Milling Co. So, when her good friend Judy asked her to give it all up to start a bakery, naturally she said “NO WAY”. Eventually the idea of spending less time on the road won over, and Sally brought her extensive baking experience to Sweet Frostings.
Sally was raised in the small Washington town of Gig Harbor and later attended Tacoma Community College for Business Management. After decorating cakes at Safeway for 11 years, she was promoted to bakery merchandiser and relocated to the Inland Northwest. Five years later she became a merchandiser for URM Stores. In 2000, she took a sales position with ADM Milling Co., which gave her the opportunity to attend the American Institute of Baking. Sally and her husband David have three children.
